Norah Dineen: Unlikely Sinners Make For Unlikely Saints

Irish songwriter Norah Dineen has released her second album, Unlikely Sinners Make For Unlikely Saints, which is now available in digital format across major music distribution and streaming platforms.

The album was produced at Mutual Sound Studios by Teemu Takatalo, who also played most of the instruments, as well as recorded and mixed the tracks. This collaboration translated Dineen’s expressive songwriting into handcrafted and organic-sounding acoustic pieces of music.

Consisting of ten songs, the album blends contemporary folk with elements of singer-songwriter music, transcending the boundaries of cultural time and space. The unique and sometimes quirky sound of the album is characterized by intimacy and sincerity.

Through her music, Norah Dineen engages with the themes of quiet protest and apathy. Her songs examine the silencing and invisibility women often face, embodying narratives of vulnerability and resilience. By challenging patriarchal structures, Dineen songs emphasizes the emotional landscapes of women’s lives.
